Stephen Shenal

Stephen comes from a strong cycling background with 8 years of racing. His discipline, the time trail, netted him silver in 2005 and gold in 2006, during the South Carolina Championships. In 2006, Stephen made the switch over to triathlon, and feel in love with the sport. In his first season, Stephen finished 3th in the Palmetto State Triathlon series in the 25 to 29 age group, ranked 36th in the South East and was still winning road races, and crits. For 2008, his focus is strictly triathlon, with his first appearance to Ironman in November 2008. Known for his hard work, and the ability to suffer, Stephen is looking at a monumental season for 2008.
